Connecticut WIC in Groton is committed to enhancing the well-being of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our Women, Infants and Children Supplemental Food Program actively promotes healthy food choices and provides essential nutrition education tailored to meet the needs of families. Participants receive guidance on breastfeeding and referrals to additional health and social services, along with an Electronic Benefits Card to purchase nutritious foods. While our offices are currently providing support through phone appointments, we encourage those interested in our program to reach out to their local WIC office to learn more about the application process and the necessary documentation needed.
