The Selma Schimmel Vital Grant serves residents of Middletown, CT, who are grappling with significant financial hardships brought on by the challenges of chronic, terminal, or rare conditions, including cancer and Parkinson's disease. Our mission is to provide essential support through utility assistance and grocery assistance, understanding the urgent needs during trying times. It's important to note that the grant will cover either utilities or groceries, ensuring that individuals receive the targeted help they need. In collaboration with Vital Options International, we also connect our participants with other resources and organizations to broaden the support available. Our goal is to alleviate some of the burdens faced by those in need, offering practical assistance that resonates with empathy and care in our community.
