The MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in New Milford, CT, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is annually screened for obesity and offered tailored weight management options that align with their individual needs and lifestyle preferences. With a range of services including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program for in-home support, we empower Veterans to take control of their weight management journey. For those who prefer self-guided approaches, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is also available. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans encountering persistent weight-related challenges.
