The Holocaust Survivors Program at Jewish Family Services in Newington, CT, is dedicated to supporting Holocaust survivors by enabling them to live independently in their homes for as long as possible. Our compassionate team provides essential services including counseling, emergency assistance for unexpected expenses, ongoing support for home care costs, and guidance in navigating reparations and compensation applications. In addition, survivors have access to the JFS Anja Rosenberg kosher food pantry, ensuring they receive nourishing meals and vital resources. Many of our services are need-based and offered at no charge to eligible survivors, while others are freely accessible to all survivors. We are here to provide the care and support that honors their remarkable resilience and dignity.
