Located in Newington, CT, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to empower every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities to pursue a healthier lifestyle by annually screening for obesity and connecting individuals with tailored weight management options. We offer a variety of care choices, including engaging group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, a unique in-home messaging system that ensures personalized support. For those who prefer self-directed weight management, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, along with medical interventions such as weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who need additional assistance.
