Care & Share of East Lyme is dedicated to providing essential food assistance and emergency support to individuals and families in East Lyme, Niantic, and Salem, Connecticut. Our committed all-volunteer team operates a year-round food pantry that not only supplies nutritious food but also includes paper products, household essentials, and cleaning supplies. We deliver bread and seasonal food baskets to local residents, ensuring no one goes hungry. In addition to food services, we offer emergency financial aid, housing support, and energy assistance. We also provide camperships and college scholarships, as well as emergency snacks and clothing for local school children. During the holiday season, our community initiatives include a winter coat program, special food and gift baskets, and a unique gift store where families can shop for free for Christmas or Chanukah. We welcome anyone in need to reach out for help and support.
