The Selma Schimmel Vital Grant, located in Plainville, CT, is dedicated to providing crucial financial assistance to individuals grappling with the challenges of chronic, terminal, or rare conditions, including cancer, Parkinson’s, and Huntington’s Disease. Our program offers support in the form of utility assistance and grocery assistance, designed to alleviate some of the burdens faced by those in need. While we can cover either utilities or groceries, we also collaborate with other organizations to help connect recipients with additional resources. Our mission is to ensure that individuals do not have to navigate these tough times alone, and we are here to offer the support and compassion they deserve during their journey.
