Located in Putnam, CT, the Emergency Food Pantry is dedicated to providing urgent food assistance to those in need within our community. Our pantry offers a variety of vital supplies, including nonperishable groceries, personal care items, baby foods, feminine hygiene products, and even laundry vouchers. When supplies allow, we also distribute fresh meats, produce, dairy, and bread to ensure access to nutritious food. To receive assistance, we operate by appointment on Sundays, and we welcome guests even if they do not have all required documentation at their initial visit. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we have implemented a no-touch food pickup system to prioritize safety while continuing to serve our community. In addition, we offer a hot lunch service from Monday to Saturday at noon.
