Basic Human Needs Programs, located in Somers, CT, is dedicated to addressing the urgent requirements of families in crisis by providing essential food assistance through our food pantries situated within Family Resource Centers in three Hartford schools. Our mission is to ensure that students and their families, as well as community members, have access to nutritious food to meet their basic nutritional needs. In addition to food, we also offer clothing, furniture, and other vital items whenever necessary. While our food pantries welcome all, certain locations may require a referral.
