Located in Storrs Mansfield, CT, Financial Assistance Funds is dedicated to supporting children with special health care needs and their families by providing critical financial assistance. Our mission is to alleviate some of the financial burdens associated with medical care and daily living expenses. We offer funding for a range of needs, including medical costs like prescriptions and durable medical equipment, non-medical expenses such as home and vehicle modifications, and healthcare-related costs like travel and lodging for medical appointments. Additionally, we provide support for daily living expenses, including food and utilities. Each family can receive up to $500 per year, with additional requests considered on a case-by-case basis. We strive to review all applications promptly, with an expected turnaround of at least 15 business days.
