The Holocaust Survivors Program at Jewish Family Services in Suffield, CT, is dedicated to empowering Holocaust survivors by providing vital support services that enable them to remain in their homes and avoid institutional care. Our compassionate team offers a range of essential services, including counseling, emergency financial assistance for unexpected expenses, and ongoing help with the costs of home care. We also assist survivors in navigating applications for reparations and compensation programs, along with access to the JFS Anja Rosenberg kosher food pantry. Many of our services are need-based and offered at no cost to qualifying survivors, while others are available free of charge to all survivors. Certain clinical services may be billable through Medicare and other insurance providers, ensuring comprehensive care for our community members.
