Connecticut WIC, located in West Haven, CT, is dedicated to fostering the well-being of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Through our Women, Infants, and Children Supplemental Food Program, we provide essential food assistance and nutrition education, along with vital support for breastfeeding. Participants also receive referrals to health and social services, and an Electronic Benefits Card to purchase nutritious foods that enhance healthy habits. While our offices are currently providing support via phone appointments due to COVID-19, we encourage prospective participants to reach out to learn more about the application process and gather necessary documents.
