Located in Wethersfield, CT, the Holocaust Survivors Program at Jewish Family Services is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for Holocaust survivors by enabling them to remain in their homes and avoid institutional care for as long as possible. Our comprehensive services include compassionate counseling, emergency financial assistance for unexpected expenses, ongoing support for home care costs, and guidance in applying for reparations and compensation programs. Survivors can also access the JFS Anja Rosenberg kosher food pantry. Many of our programs are need-based and offered at no charge, ensuring that support is accessible to those who qualify. Additional clinical services may be billable to Medicare and other insurance providers, reflecting our commitment to providing vital assistance with dignity and care.
