The Selma Schimmel Vital Grant, located in Windsor Locks, CT, is dedicated to providing immediate support to individuals experiencing significant financial hardship due to chronic, terminal, or rare conditions, including cancer, Parkinson’s disease, and Huntington’s disease, among others. Our program emphasizes compassion and urgency by offering crucial utility assistance and grocery support to those in need. While the grant is designated for either utilities or groceries, we also collaborate with various local organizations through our partnership with Vital Options International (VOI) to ensure recipients have access to additional resources. We strive to alleviate some of the burdens during these challenging times.
