Connecticut WIC, located in Winsted, CT, is dedicated to improving the nutritional well-being of low-income pregnant and postpartum women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Through our Women, Infants, and Children Supplemental Food Program, we promote healthy food choices and provide essential services such as personalized nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and referrals to health and social services. Participants receive an Electronic Benefits Card, allowing them to purchase healthy foods conveniently. While our offices are currently open for phone appointments only, we encourage new applicants to reach out to their local WIC office for assistance in starting their journey towards healthier living.
