Located in Naval Anacost Annex, DC, the Drop-In Center Emergency Services is dedicated to providing immediate support for homeless and low-income families and individuals, including women transitioning from incarceration. Our mission centers on ensuring that those facing unexpected challenges have access to vital resources. We offer emergency food, clothing, feminine hygiene products, personal care items, and walk-in assistance to meet urgent needs. Additionally, clients can benefit from ID and birth certificate vouchers, our computer lab, and welcome home bags. Food bag distribution takes place every Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., while clothing and toiletries are available for women on Thursdays and Fridays, and for men on Fridays, all within the same hours. We strive to create a supportive environment where everyone feels welcome and valued.
