At the Drop-In Center Emergency Services in Naval Anacost Annex, DC, we are dedicated to supporting homeless and low-income families and individuals by providing essential emergency food assistance and clothing. Our mission encompasses catering to immediate needs, particularly for women reintegrating into society after incarceration. We offer a range of vital services, including emergency food distribution every Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., clothing and toiletries for women on Thursdays and Fridays, and assistance for men on Fridays. Additionally, our center supplies feminine hygiene products, personal care items, ID and birth certificate vouchers, and access to a computer lab and walk-in assistance. We believe in fostering a welcoming environment where individuals can find relief and support during challenging times.
