MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Naval Anacost Annex, DC, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through a comprehensive weight management and health promotion initiative. Our mission is to screen every Veteran visiting VA facilities for obesity annually and guide them to effective weight management services tailored to their unique needs and preferences. MOVE! offers a range of treatment options including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! system, which connects Veterans with clinicians from the comfort of home. For those who enjoy a self-guided approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who have faced ongoing weight challenges.
