About Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program at Naval Anacost Annex, DC, is dedicated to improving the health and nutrition of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. WIC offers vital services including personalized nutrition counseling, breastfeeding support, and access to a range of healthy foods rich in essential nutrients like calcium, protein, iron, and vitamins A, C, and D.
