About Women, Infants and Children (WIC)
The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program at Naval Anacost Annex, DC, is dedicated to fostering the health and nutrition of low-income pregnant women, new mothers, and children from birth to age five. Our mission is to provide essential food assistance and promote healthy eating habits through comprehensive nutrition counseling and education. We offer breastfeeding support, access to nutrient-rich foods, immunization screening, and referrals to relevant health and social services including medical, birthing, and dental care.
