Produce Plus is dedicated to enhancing access to fresh and healthy food for residents of Washington Navy Yard, DC who face food insecurity. Our program runs from early June to the end of November, providing participants with $40 per month to spend on locally sourced fruits and vegetables at designated farmers markets and farm stands throughout Washington, DC. We believe that nutritious food should be available to everyone, and we strive to support the community in making healthier choices.
