Simple Cooking with Heart/SNAP-Ed, located in Washington Navy Yard, DC, is dedicated to empowering SNAP-eligible residents through hands-on culinary and nutrition education. Our program offers a comprehensive four-week curriculum that equips participants with essential cooking skills and nutritional knowledge, ensuring they can make healthy food choices for themselves and their families. As a part of our commitment to food assistance, each participating household receives two complimentary bags of fresh produce delivered right to their door. Currently, we are pleased to offer these enriching classes virtually, making them accessible to our community members.
