Located in Washington, DC, the Drop-In Center Emergency Services is dedicated to providing crucial emergency food assistance and clothing to homeless and low-income families and individuals, including women reintegrating after incarceration. Our welcoming environment caters specifically to those facing immediate needs who may not require ongoing case management. We offer a variety of essential services, including emergency food, feminine hygiene products, personal care items, and ID and birth certificate vouchers. Additionally, our computer lab is available for clients, and we provide Welcome Home Bags to help individuals transition back into the community. Food bag distributions take place every Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., while clothing and toiletries for women are distributed on Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Men can access clothing and toiletries on Fridays at the same time. We are here to support those in our community who need it most, ensuring that everyone has access to the basic necessities they deserve.
