Emergency Food Delivery is dedicated to ensuring that everyone in Washington, DC has access to critical food assistance through our volunteer-run grocery delivery service. Initially founded to support individuals with mobility challenges, we proudly serve all quadrants of the city, making weekly deliveries—including on holidays—every Saturday morning. Our compassionate team focuses on helping elderly citizens, those with disabilities, and single mothers with young children by providing emergency food directly to their homes. We welcome referrals from social workers as well as direct inquiries from individuals in need, reinforcing our commitment to making nutritious food accessible to all.
