Produce Plus is dedicated to increasing access to fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables for residents of Washington, DC who face challenges in obtaining healthy food. Running from early June through the end of November, our program empowers participants with $40 per month to spend on a variety of local produce at designated farmers markets and farm stands throughout the city. Our mission is to uplift the community by making nutritious food more accessible and supporting local agriculture.
