At Cape Henlopen Food Basket, located in Bethel, DE, we are dedicated to providing immediate food assistance to individuals and families in need within the Cape Henlopen School District. Our mission is clear: no one should go hungry. We offer a 10-day supply of emergency food, including canned and frozen items, along with supermarket vouchers for essential fresh items like milk, eggs, margarine, and bread. Our services are open to all, with no evaluation of needs required, ensuring that support is accessible to everyone in times of crisis. We partner with Delaware State Social Services for those requiring ongoing assistance and are committed to making a positive impact in our community. Please note that we close during inclement weather when the Cape Henlopen School District is not in session, as the safety of our clients and volunteers is our priority.
