Located in Bridgeville, Delaware, the Cape Henlopen Food Basket (CHFB) is dedicated to providing essential emergency food assistance to individuals and families within the Cape Henlopen School District. We understand that everyone faces challenges, which is why we offer food assistance without any evaluation of need—everyone is welcome to receive support. Our patrons receive a 10-day supply of canned and frozen foods alongside a supermarket voucher for fresh staples like milk, eggs, margarine, and bread. When extreme weather strikes and the Cape Henlopen School District is closed, so too is the CHFB, ensuring our commitment to safety. Our mission is to ensure that no one in our community goes hungry, and we are here to support you during difficult times.
