The Selma Schimmel Vital Grant in Clayton, DE, provides essential support to individuals facing financial hardships due to chronic, terminal, or rare conditions, including cancer, Parkinson's Disease, and Huntington's Disease. Our mission is to alleviate some of the burdens associated with these challenges by offering utility assistance and grocery assistance, recognizing the critical need for stability during difficult times. While this grant focuses on either utilities or groceries, we also work closely with partner organizations to help connect recipients with additional resources. Together, we strive to empower those in need by providing practical support and fostering a sense of community.
