Located in Dagsboro, Delaware, the Cape Henlopen Food Basket (CHFB) is dedicated to offering vital emergency food assistance to individuals and families in need within the Cape Henlopen School District. Our mission is to ensure that everyone has access to nourishment, providing a 10-day supply of canned and frozen food along with supermarket vouchers for fresh essentials like milk, eggs, margarine, and bread. We believe in compassion and accessibility, serving all clients in a non-judgmental atmosphere. If a household requires food assistance more than three times in a three-month span, we connect them with Delaware State Social Services for further support. Please note that during inclement weather, CHFB will close in alignment with the Cape Henlopen School District.
