Selma Schimmel Vital Grant serves individuals and families in Delaware City, DE, who are experiencing financial difficulties due to chronic, terminal, or rare conditions such as cancer, Parkinson's disease, and Huntington's disease. Our mission is to alleviate some of the financial burden by providing essential utility assistance and grocery assistance to those in need. We understand the unique challenges faced by our community, and while our grant specifically covers either utilities or groceries, we also collaborate with partner organizations to connect recipients with additional support services. We are dedicated to offering practical help and meaningful resources to enhance the well-being of those impacted by serious health issues.
