Food Assistance is dedicated to delivering emergency food services to residents of Frankford, DE, and the surrounding areas within the Cape Henlopen School District. Our mission is to ensure that no one in our community faces hunger alone. We provide immediate aid to families in need with a 10-day supply of nutritious canned and frozen food and a supermarket voucher for essential fresh items like milk, eggs, margarine, and bread. Understanding that food insecurity can happen to anyone, we maintain an inclusive approach, offering assistance without requiring evaluations of individual circumstances. If clients require help more than three times within three months, we connect them with Delaware State Social Services for additional support. Please note that in the event of severe weather, our services align with the closures of the Cape Henlopen School District to prioritize safety and well-being.
