Located in Houston, DE, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. The program aims to screen all Veterans receiving care at VA facilities for obesity on an annual basis, providing personalized referrals to diverse weight management options tailored to individual needs. Our offerings include group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which offers in-home support through messaging and clinician contact. For those who prefer a self-guided approach, we provide the MOVE! Coach mobile app. Additionally, Veterans facing persistent challenges with weight can access weight loss medications and bariatric surgery after participating in MOVE! This program is designed to support Veterans on their path to a healthier life, and individuals interested in joining can connect with their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider for assistance.
