Based in Marydel, DE, Financial Assistance for Families Working in the Restaurant Industry, known as CORE, is dedicated to supporting food and beverage service employees who are facing financial difficulties due to illness or medical emergencies. Our compassionate program offers essential financial assistance covering a range of expenses such as rent or mortgage, utilities, funeral costs, medical bills and supplies, therapy, and hospital-related travel expenses. Additionally, CORE assists with crucial child needs like diapers and formula, as well as childcare costs. Former grant recipients may reapply for assistance after a full year has passed since their last award, providing help for the same or a new qualifying condition. While we strive to make an impactful difference, please note that there is a lifetime cap of $7,500 for each recipient.
