Located in Millville, DE, the Cape Henlopen Food Basket (CHFB) is dedicated to providing emergency food assistance to individuals and families within the Cape Henlopen School District. We understand that everyone deserves access to nutritious food, which is why we ensure that no evaluation is needed to receive help. Clients can rely on us for a 10-day supply of canned and frozen food, along with a supermarket voucher for fresh essentials like milk, eggs, bread, and margarine. If food support is needed more than three times within a three-month period, we connect clients with Delaware State Social Services for additional assistance. In the interest of safety, the Food Basket is closed during inclement weather when the Cape Henlopen School District is also closed. We are here to help our community, one meal at a time.
