Located in Milton, DE, Cape Henlopen Food Basket (CHFB) is dedicated to providing emergency food assistance to individuals and families within the Cape Henlopen School District boundaries. We believe that access to food should never be a barrier, which is why we offer a 10-day supply of nutritious canned and frozen foods along with supermarket vouchers for essentials such as milk, eggs, margarine, and bread, ensuring that those in need receive the support they deserve. Our policy is simple: if you seek assistance, we are here to help without any judgment or evaluation of your circumstances. In our commitment to community well-being, we encourage clients needing food assistance more than three times in three months to explore additional resources through Delaware State Social Services. For safety, CHFB follows the schedule of the Cape Henlopen School District and will be closed in the event of inclement weather.
