HIV Services, part of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Wilmington, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of individuals living with HIV in Newark, DE, and beyond. Our mission focuses on providing essential assistance to clients, ensuring they remain securely housed and have access to vital resources to navigate crises and adhere to their treatment plans. We are committed to serving over 100,000 individuals and families across Delaware and the Eastern Shore of Maryland, offering our support without regard to religion, race, or ability to pay. To access our food assistance, housing support, and emergency services, individuals must demonstrate documented needs for basic expenses, such as rent and energy costs, and agree to a personal interview and financial assessment. Referrals for our program are coordinated through clients’ caseworkers, ensuring a tailored approach to each person’s unique circumstances.
