The Los Abuelos Program is dedicated to promoting healthy living among seniors aged 60 and above in Port Penn, DE, with a special focus on the Latino community. Our mission is to engage, educate, and support older adults through a range of enriching activities, including educational sessions, exercise classes, and recreational events. We also provide essential food assistance by partnering with a local food bank to distribute free food boxes to qualifying seniors residing in New Castle County. In addition to fostering healthier lifestyles, we celebrate life’s special moments with birthday and holiday celebrations, ensuring our seniors feel valued and connected. To participate in our food distribution program, seniors must meet specific income guidelines and age requirements.
