At the Cape Henlopen Food Basket in Rehoboth Beach, DE, we are dedicated to providing emergency food assistance to those in need within the Cape Henlopen School District. Our mission is to ensure that no one goes hungry, offering families a 10-day supply of essential canned and frozen goods, alongside supermarket vouchers for fresh items like milk, eggs, margarine, and bread. We believe in unconditional support; no assessments are conducted, and we strive to help everyone who reaches out to us. Additionally, if a client requires food assistance more than three times within a three-month period, we connect them with Delaware State Social Services for further support, ensuring they receive the help they truly need. Please note, during inclement weather when the Cape Henlopen School District is closed, our services will also be unavailable. Together, we work towards a healthier, hunger-free community.
