The Wilmington Senior Center (WSC) is dedicated to enhancing the lives of older adults in the Wilmington community through life-sustaining and enriching services. Established in 1956 as Delaware's first senior center, WSC offers a diverse range of programs, including health and wellness classes, arts and cultural activities, and critical support services aimed at managing chronic diseases and combating economic insecurity among seniors. With a strong emphasis on fostering physical, mental, and social well-being, WSC helps seniors live healthier and more independent lives. Additionally, the Center provides resources for caregivers, including one-on-one assistance and referrals. As a vital community resource, the Wilmington Senior Center invites all seniors, 50 and older, to explore its programs and join a community that celebrates both good times and supports during tough times.
