Located in Winterthur, DE, the Los Abuelos Program is dedicated to promoting healthy living among seniors aged 60 and above, particularly within the Latino community. Our mission focuses on empowering and supporting older adults through educational sessions, exercise classes, and engaging recreational activities designed to enhance their quality of life. In partnership with a local Food Bank, we offer vital food assistance services, distributing free boxes of nutritious food for eligible residents of New Castle County. We believe in celebrating every moment, which is why our program also includes festive birthday and holiday celebrations, creating a warm and inviting space for seniors to connect and thrive. To qualify for our food distribution program, participants must meet specific income guidelines, ensuring that we can reach those who need it most while fostering a healthier community together.
