About Senior Food Box Program
The Senior Food Box Program, also known as the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) in Aiea, HI, is committed to alleviating senior hunger by providing monthly boxes of nutritious USDA food to low-income kūpuna. Each food box is thoughtfully designed to supplement essential nutrients, helping seniors maintain their health and avoid expensive hospitalizations or nursing home placements. Participation is simple: download the application online and submit it to the Hawaii Foodbank. While there is currently a wait list due to high demand for Senior Food Boxes, we are dedicated to serving as many kūpuna as possible, distributing extra boxes to those on the wait list when available. Join us in our mission to support the nutritional needs of our senior community and ensure that no kūpuna faces hunger alone.
