About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Anahola, HI, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of leaders who advocate for a food system that is just and sustainable. This immersive program empowers selected Fellows through comprehensive organic food system education and hands-on experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus. Students engage in meaningful projects such as growing and distributing diverse crops, teaching ecological literacy, supporting community gardens, and enhancing food access through farmers markets. With no tuition fees, we ensure accessibility for all, promoting equity in food systems. After a six-month residency, Fellows embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with local non-profits to apply their training and make a tangible impact in their communities. Applications are accepted until March for the program beginning in May.
