Women, Infants & Children (WIC) at Camp H M Smith, HI, is committed to fostering healthy nutrition habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, alongside infants and children up to five years old. Our mission revolves around providing indispensable support through comprehensive nutrition assessments, education, and tailored programs that include breastfeeding promotion and direct health and social service referrals. WIC ensures families receive essential supplemental foods to promote optimal health during these crucial early years. In response to COVID-19, we are currently offering our services remotely, ensuring that support reaches those who need it most while prioritizing safety and accessibility.
