Early Head Start (EHS) in Captain Cook, HI, is dedicated to enriching the lives of low-income families with infants, toddlers under three, and pregnant women through comprehensive early childhood education and support services. Our federally funded program focuses on home-based services, offering weekly visits that empower parents to nurture their children's development while providing essential health and developmental screenings. With a commitment to community connection, we host group socialization activities twice a month, creating inclusive spaces for children and parents to engage in enriching activities together. As we plan for future classroom locations in Hawaiian Beaches and Hilo, our current offerings extend island-wide in East Hawaii, ensuring all families can access early learning resources, prenatal education, and ongoing family support tailored to foster growth and well-being for both parents and children.
