About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, based in Captain Cook, HI, is dedicated to cultivating leaders who champion a just food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic fairness. Through our no-cost Fellowship, participants receive comprehensive education in organic farming and sustainable food practices and engage in hands-on training at our revitalizing farm. This unique program equips Fellows with the knowledge and skills needed to grow and distribute diverse crops, support community gardens, enhance food literacy in schools, and promote equitable access to healthy food options. Over the course of six months, Fellows live and learn at our vibrant Farm Campus, followed by a Community Action Year where they actively partner with local non-profits to implement their training. With a commitment to empowering the next generation of food advocates, we invite aspiring leaders to apply by March each year for an experience that transforms both individuals and communities.
