Located in Captain Cook, HI, the Komen Financial Assistance Program is dedicated to providing crucial financial support to individuals undergoing breast cancer treatment who meet income eligibility requirements. Our mission is to alleviate some of the burdens that accompany this challenging journey by offering assistance for a variety of essential expenses, including housing costs, utility bills, side-effect management medications, and transportation to medical appointments. Additionally, we support the costs of childcare or elder care, oral treatment medications, durable medical equipment, lymphedema supplies, food, and even palliative and home health care services. With a focus on caring for the whole person, our awards are tailored to the individual’s current stage of cancer, ensuring that recipients receive the specific help they need when it matters most.
