Based in Ewa Beach, Hawaii, CORE is dedicated to providing essential financial assistance to families working in the restaurant industry who are facing financial hardship due to illness or medical emergencies. Understanding the unique challenges that food and beverage service employees encounter, CORE offers critical support covering vital expenses such as rent or mortgage, utilities, medical bills and supplies, therapy, and childcare costs. Our compassionate program also addresses immediate needs, including funeral expenses and child-related necessities like diapers and formula. We invite former grant recipients to apply again after twelve months for continued support, recognizing that circumstances can change. Please note that while we strive to assist as many families as possible, each recipient is subject to a lifetime cap of $7,500. Together, we aim to alleviate financial burdens and foster resilience within our restaurant community during difficult times.
