The MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Fort Shafter, HI, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. With a commitment to annually screening every Veteran at VA facilities for obesity, MOVE! aims to connect individuals with tailored weight management services that align with their personal needs and preferences. Participants can access a variety of support options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, TeleMOVE! for in-home messaging and clinician support, and the MOVE! Coach mobile app for those who prefer self-directed weight management. For Veterans facing ongoing challenges with weight, we also offer access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
