AlohaPlates2GO is dedicated to nourishing the well-being of qualified seniors aged 60 and older in Haiku, HI, by providing monthly food vouchers that can be redeemed at participating food trucks across Maui County. In response to the ongoing challenges posed by the pandemic, our program ensures that seniors have access to healthy meals while fostering community connections. Each recipient receives a set of vouchers, with the understanding that they are non-transferable and can be used once per day, requiring the kupuna's presence to enjoy their meal. Participation is completely free, though we welcome voluntary contributions to help us continue serving our seniors. Our mission is to support those with the greatest social and economic needs, consistent with the values of the Older Americans Act, by eliminating barriers to food access and enhancing the quality of life for our cherished kupuna.
