About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Hanamaulu, HI, is dedicated to empowering individuals to champion a food system that is socially, environmentally, and economically just. Our program offers a tuition-free, immersive experience where selected Fellows engage in hands-on education about organic food systems at our vibrant farm campus. During the fellowship, participants cultivate diversified crops, implement community health education initiatives, and support school and community gardens. They also enhance food and ecological literacy among students, promote local farmers markets, and develop better access to healthy foods. This journey includes a six-month experiential training phase followed by a Community Action Year, allowing Fellows to apply their knowledge in collaboration with regional non-profits. We welcome enthusiastic individuals to apply and join us in creating impactful change in our communities and beyond. Applications are due by March, with the fellowship running annually from May to October.
